Goebel, Sylvia Betty Lilly
July 10, 1933 – March 20, 2022
It is with great sadness the family of Sylvia Goebel announce her peaceful passing at Kingston Health Science Centre on Sunday March 20, 2022.
Sylvia was predeceased by her parents Jack and Christine High, her brother David High, her husbands James Wallace Burns and Laurie Bouchea. Sylvia is survived by her loving and kind husband Gerry Goebel.
Sylvia was a much loved, mother of Brydie (Mike) Miller, Wendy Burns, Jamie (Melanie) Burns, Robin (Jarrie) Burns. Loved dearly by her grandchildren Ashley (Luke) Chambers, Timothy (Melanie) Burns and Adam Murphy. Cherished great grandmother to Ava, Colton, Lincoln, Caiden and Asher.
Sylvia lived a wonderful and full life in Kingston. She was blessed in having many loving friends and a large family who loved supported and adored her. She will be greatly missed and always be in our hearts and prayers.
For those wishing; memorial donations my be made in memory of Sylvia to The Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario.
The family would like to extend thanks to the amazing nursing staff and doctors at KHSC for their great care and kindness in Sylvia’s final days.
