Freeman, Sybil Isabel (nee McKenzie) March 14, 1938 – February 10, 2022
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Loving wife of 65 years to Glenn. Cherished mother of David (Teri) and Robert (Lynne). Beloved grandmother of Alyssa (Mark), Susie (Eric), Tori, Sarah, Julia, and Robert. Adoring great-grandmother of Kit. Daughter of the late Clarence and Helen McKenzie. Dearest sister of Bertha Campbell (Jack), Rennie (Alison), the late Margaret Turner (the late Doug), the late Freddie (Jeannie), Brian (Cheryl), the late Donald, and the late John (the late Beverly).
Sybil was a passionate baker and her many treats were enjoyed greatly by family and friends. When she wasn’t cooking up something delicious, Sybil could be found sewing or knitting. Sybil valued family above all and she provided so many special moments that will be cherished forever.
Sybil’s life will be celebrated at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Saturday, February 26th at 3:00 pm with visitation taking place 2 hours prior to the service (1-3pm). The family will gather for a private interment at Fonthill Cemetery on a later date.
