It is with great sadness, that the family of Suzanne Margaret Asquith announces her passing on the morning of Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the age of 55. After a courageous battle with cancer, Sue passed peacefully, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was born on February 5, 1967, beloved daughter of Peter and the late Margaret Asquith (Nee Keene) and treasured sister of Andrew (Susan) Asquith, Anthony (Jacinta) Asquith, Charles (Nina) Asquith, and the late Jillian (Gianni) Fanara. Sue will be greatly missed by her siblings but especially by her children, Stephen, Leighanne, Ashlea, Alicia, Elisabeth and Adam, as well as her grandchildren, Adrian, Kristopher, Liam, Gina, Ava, Angelah, Destiny, Bradlee, Benjamin, and Jaxson.
Sue will be remembered for her bright and selfless personality as well as her contagious laughter. Anyone who met Sue knew of her many kindnesses and giving heart. Her work as a PSW reflected her best qualities, like her desire to always make life better for others. Sue’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family. As per her request, a private family Celebration of Life will be held, in lieu of service.
If desired, as an expression of gratitude, any donations can be made out to Hospice Peterborough.
* Donations may be made by mailing a cheque to the funeral home or through the funeral home website.
