Susan Teresa Porter
February 18, 1958 – April 1, 2022
The family of Susan Porter regrets to announce her passing following a brief illness at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age of 64 years.
For many years, Sue and her husband worked alongside one another operating a business in the oilfield where the atmosphere and the opportunity to meet so many people brought her much joy. When away from the office, Sue and Greig enjoyed many day trips out in the country, but her heart was for animals, with a special love for horses.
Sue will forever be loved and remembered by her husband. Greig Porter; mother, Elizabeth Schnitzler; siblings, Ron Schnitzler, Don (Sandy) Schnitzler and Cheryl (Mike) Slade; brother-in-law, Gary (Trisha) Porter; sister-in-law, Andrea (Gord) Chrenek as well as by her nieces and nephews, DJ, Sasha, Nicholas, Isabella, Jason, Sara, Emma and Jennifer.
She is predeceased by her father, Donald Schnitzler and brother-in-law, Geoff Porter.
A private family graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Edmonton, Alberta.
