Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stephen Michael Duffenais of Lourdes, NL announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Leaving behind with fond and loving memories: his wife Cecilia Duffenais; his children: Paul Duffenais, Freeman Duffenais, and Dorothy Duffenais (Richard Campbell); grandchildren: Christina Duffenais, Jayda Duffenais, Patricia Burt, and Jamie Burt; 6 great grandchildren; his brothers: Lucien Duffenais, Stanley Duffenais, and Clyde Duffenais; and sister Geraldine Harview; as well as a circle of extended family and friends.
Stephen was predeceased by his parents: Mary & Freeman Duffenais; son Kenneth Duffenais; and sister Nellis Benoit.
There will be a visitation and rosary at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 from 7:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. a funeral service will take place from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM with burial to follow at Winterhouses Cemetery.
