Stephen Howe Wilkinson (63) passed away at home from cancer Sunday, September 18th. He leaves behind siblings: Trevor, Wendy Wilkinson Haynes & Shelley (Bear) Wilhelm; nephews and nieces: Dana Wilkinson, Kathryn & Jordan Haynes, Khristopher & Reesa Wilhelm; great-niece Doreen Currie Haynes. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon (Geoff) & Doreen (nee Allen) Wilkinson, and brothers Derek, Brian & Ian.
Steve was a quiet, bright and hard working fellow and a solid, logical thinker. He graduated from Queens and returned home to Stratford for his Masters at UW after working as a computer programmer in Toronto. He was committed to his work with NavBlue in Waterloo.
Stephen’s dedication to supporting family was admirable. Steve enjoyed gardening, bicycling, photography, visiting the French River family camp, chocolate, Indian food and music (especially Celine Dion).
A huge thank you goes to Joy Coleman & Kit Sheldon for their home care expertise and support. A private family interment will be at Avondale cemetery.
