Passed away unexpectedly at home on April 22, 2022 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Josie for 38 years. Loving and proud father of John (Amanda) and James. Cherished grandpa of Joey and Lucas. Loving son of Alma and the late Stanley. Dear brother of Dave (Laurie), Wayne, and Nancy (Steve). Stan will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He worked as a Civil Engineer for ERCA for over 35 years, where he took great pride in everything he did. Stan loved the outdoors, especially trout fishing, camping, and gardening. He was a die-hard Montreal Canadiens fan, and enjoyed music, especially blues and rock & roll. He loved spending time with his grandsons, passing on his love of gardening and chess to them.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, where he often volunteered.
On Thursday, April 28, 2022 memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until words of remembrance are shared at 2:00 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Cremation has taken place.
