Obituary for
Sophie Sheptycki
On January 15, 2022 Sophie Sheptycki of Lamont, AB formerly of Chipman, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years.
Sophie is survived by her loving family; children, Shirley Laidler, Ken (Betty), Bonnie (Richard) Mandryk; six grandchildren, Carmen (Phil), Melanie, T.J. (Jodi), Tanya, Michael (Heather) and Pamela (Billy); eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Tom; sisters, Annie, Pearl and Stephka; brothers, John, Peter, Paul; grandson-in-law, Jason.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to the staff at the Lamont Health Care Centre for their care and compassion.
Funeral Service on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB with interment to follow Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Chipman, AB.

Per Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program, be prepared to provide proof of Vaccinations for the Funeral Service (QR code along with valid ID if 18 or over), or proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken within 72 hours of entry, or an original medical exemption letter.
