On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Mrs. Sophie Voros (nee Kalczak) passed away at Eaux Claires Long Term Care Facility, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 73 years.
Sophie is survived by her loving family; her husband Calvin Voros of Leduc, Alberta; daughters, Sharla (Colin) Blanchette of St. Albert, Alberta, Karin (TJ Fitzgerald) Voros of Edmonton, Alberta; her grandchildren, Megan Dixon, Brooklyn Dixon, Kaitlin Dixon, Jackson Blanchette, Baby Blanchette; brothers, John (Anne) Kalczak, Roman (Diane) Bobinski; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Anna & Joseph Kalczak; and infant sister, Genya.
A funeral service will be conducted on May 30, 2022, from the Grace United Church, Wainwright, Alberta at 1:00PM. Family and friends unable to attend the service may participate via live stream located below.
If so desired, the family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the Alberta Stollery Children’s Hospital or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
