Obituary
Silvia Louise Brown (née Herensperger), 75, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 4th, 2022, after complications with COVID-19. Silvia’s family remains in awe of her continued positivity and ability to care for others, even when things were difficult. She will be remembered for her laugh, bright smile, quick wit, making the best cucumber salad, and so much more.
A devoted mother and wife, Silvia’s greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, from a backyard barbeque to watching a Calgary Flames game on TV. A caregiver at heart, she was always the first to offer help to those in need, not out of a sense of obligation, but because that is who she was. She always ensured that anyone who crossed her threshold was happy, healthy, and safe.
Silvia was predeceased by her loving husband Stanley Gordon Brown; and leaves behind her three children Jacqueline Froese (née Brunschwiler), Michelle Brunschwiler (Bob Pitman), and Daniel Brunschwiler; her granddaughter Paige Froese (Gregory Pylypiw); as well as many close family and friends.
There are no services or events planned, as Silvia did not wish to have them. Instead, have a cup of coffee and share a memory or enjoy a good book, she would have liked nothing more.
