Shirley June Bishop 1949 2022

Bishop, Shirley June
The world has lost a beautiful soul who graduated from this world, peacefully, at home, surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in her 74th year. Beloved Mother to daughter, Lindsay Alexis Marie (Paul), sister of Hilda Hunter, Patricia & Bob Vaughan, Larry & Leslie Marriott of London, ON and Wayne Marriott of Vernon, BC. An Aunt to 3 generations of nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Shirley had a very successful career spanning 47 years which ended with Anova as a Human Resources Manager. During her retirement, Shirley spent time volunteering at Wellspring, Big Sisters and Forest City Community Church as well as a Mission trip to Africa. She loved travelling with her daughter, Lindsay, to many Bucket List destinations, enjoyed live musical performances and so much more.
Cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held at a later date.
A special, heartfelt thanks to all the healthcare staff in London and the surrounding area for their care and attention.
Anyone wishing to honor Shirley is invited to donate to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada www.braintumour.ca. Expressions of sympathy are appreciated and may be made through London Cremation Services (519) 672-0459 or online at www.londoncremation.com.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Shirley
