Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with family by her side after a long battle with Pleural Fibrosis and other health issues on Tuesday July 12, 2022 Shirley Ann Shewchyk at the age of 78. Loving mother to Tim and Grandmother to Leia and Kendra. She is survived by her sisters Dorothy (Don Swallow), Carolyn (Don Service) and sister-in-law Eleanor. Predeceased by her brother John and sister Nancy. She graduated from the School of Registered Nursing, Class of 66 at the Civic Hospital. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street on Saturday July 23, 2022 from 2-3 pm. Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel at 3 pm. Interment Reid’s Mills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers made to the charity of your choice or Reid’s Mills Cemetery, 6062 Belmeade Road, RR 4, Osgoode, ON K0A 2W0 would be appreciated. May She Rest In Peace.
