Shirley Ann Reed Oglesby – age 84 of Knoxville passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Member of Bethel Baptist Church and also attended Marbledale Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Jim Oglesby; parents, Rev. Sherman and Iva Bales Reed; son, Michael Oglesby; daughter, Deborah Lee; son-in-law Greg Evans; and daughter-in-law, Jane Caldwell.
Survived by daughters, Connie Oglesby, Angela (Tal) McMahan, Valerie Evans; son, Darrell (Connie) Oglesby; son-in-law, Danny Lee; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren and one on the way. A special Thanks to Rhonda Cochran and the staff of Holston Health and Rehab.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Tuesday at Caledonia Cemetery for an 11:00 AM burial. Pallbearers: Trigg McMahan, Chance Evans, Eric Blazer, and Brandon Branch.
