Shirley Ann McNab

In loving memory of our mother, Shirley McNab passed away quietly on November 27, 2022. She was born on June 30, 1937. She was predeceased by her father, Moses Strongeagle and Mother Edna Strongeagle (nee Cappo), daughter Loretta Bitternose, and grandchildren Miranda McNab and Albert Windigo and her brothers William Strongeagle, Alvin Strongeagle, Robert Blind and Sidney Blind. Sadly, missed by her daughters Melinda Moosemay and Romona Windigo, her son Mark McNab (Geraldine), and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with her brothers Herb Strongeagle (Joyce), Ernie Strongeagle, Herman Blind (Rita), Tony Blind (Donna Lee), Danny (Blanche) with her sisters Donna Muller (Fred), Susie Bear (Lyle), Edna Blind and Laverna Blind along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her adopted brother Austin Kay (Grace) and numerous adopted sons, daughters and a grandchild.
She worked as a CHR GGFN, CHR advisor, and National CHR association for many years. She helped many people of George Gordon First Nation
A traditional wake will be held on Wednesday November 30, 2022, at 4 PM in the old gym, George Gordon First Nation
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 1, 2022, at 11 AM in the old gym, George Gordon First Nation.
