Shelley Lou Hammond

Shelley Lou passed away at the age of 58. She was born in Kamloops, B.C, on August 11, 1964, and was raised in the North Thompson. On October 5, 2022, her battle with cancer ended. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie-Jo, and Hailee. Her Sister Jodie, nephews, and many cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Randy Hammond, father Donald Kenneth Hammond, and Mother, Judith Hammond.
In 1985 Shelley became a real estate salesman just before her 21st birthday. Then she got her agent’s ticket in 1988. Started her company Advantage Real Estate Services in 1996. She had a successful 30-year career in Real Estate. She married Chuck Koppman in 1991.
Shelley’s hobbies were construction and her pets. She became an auctioneer for fun and went to school in Mason City, Iowa, in 1987. She was handy and enjoyed doing construction. She also played guitar and enjoyed playing pool. Shelley loved her pets; she always had a dog and a cat. She was a kind, caring, loving mother. Shelley was always positive.
She said that her best achievements in life were her daughters and being a mother.
Shelley will be deeply missed. She will live on in our memories.
As per Shelley’s request, there will be no funeral. Instead, there will be a Wake in her honor for family and friends in future.
