HALLADAY, Sharon Patricia (Bain)
May 18, 1949 – December 13, 2022
Sharon passed away peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on December 13, 2022. Sharon loved life and greeted everyday with her infectious smile and unmistakable laugh. She was a strong, caring person who saw only the good in anyone she met.
Sharon and her husband of 53 years, Clinton, enjoyed many wonderful moments, especially time with family. Sharon will be greatly missed by daughter-in-law Christina (Ryan – deceased) and granddaughters Lauren and Madeline. Predeceased by son Ryan, her parents Jean & Wilbert, and brothers Willis, Byron (Susan), Mervyn (Leslie) and Ivan (Barbara). Sharon leaves behind sister Sheila (Gary) Burk, brothers Roger (Brenda), Tim (Lila) and Ernie, sisters-in-law Susan Bain, Leslie Bain, Georgina (Jim) Campbell and Mary Carbino.
Sharon brought joy to everyone who knew her. She loved her family, celebrated all that life had to offer, enjoyed entertaining and showered everyone with love and kindness. She will be greatly missed, but her kind spirit and her compassion will be carried in our hearts.
We are immensely grateful for the wonderful, compassionate care Sharon received at Lanark Lodge. If you wish to make a memorial donation in Sharon’s memory, please donate to Elgin United Church, Lanark Lodge or the Sunnybrook Foundation – Young Adult Colorectal Cancer Clinic.
Cremation has taken place. All are invited to the Memorial Service at 1:30 PM, Saturday December 17, 2022 at Elgin United Church followed by a Celebration of Sharon’s life at the Elgin Community Hall.
Inurnment will take place at Halladay Burial Place at a later date.
