HUNTLEY, Scott Garrard –
Peacefully on September 9, 2022, at his home in Etobicoke. Born in Oshawa on May 2, 1954, Scott was the beloved son of the late Harold and Wilma (nee Garrard) Huntley. Scott is survived by his dear children Andrew (Erin) and Rachel, and his adored granddaughters Marina and Beth. Scott leaves behind his only sibling Gail Huntley Hargreaves (Theo) and his three nephews Alex, Eric and Mike. Scott spent nearly his entire life devoted to the game of baseball, from playing growing up, to coaching, to volunteering for over 25 years with the Brampton Minor Baseball Association. Through his love and dedication to the game he leaves behind a host of friends.
Resting at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel (110 Dundas Street East, Whitby) on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Groveside Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Scott are asked to consider the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
