It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Sarah Freeborne of Harbour Mille announces her passing. Sarah passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at the age of 96. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, Clyde Freeborne (Bernadette) of Little Bay East; daughters, Rose Freeborne of St. John’s, Phyllis Banfield of St. John’s, Joyce Osborne (Max) of Little Bay East; 9 grandchildren, Derrick, Brad, Tanya, Tammy, Paul, Kelly, Mark, Craig, Toby; 8 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Freeborne; son, Absalom Freeborne; parents, Evelyn & Henrietta Barnes; sister, Susie Pierce (Charles); brother-in-law, John Freeborne.
The Freeborne Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home Creston South, NL on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Harbour Mille on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
Inurnment to follow at St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery.
In Sarah’s memory donations may be made to the Daffodil Place.
