Samuel Tapper
October 16, 1979 – August 8, 2022
With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Samuel Tapper on Monday, August 8th, 2022, at the age of 42. Sam was a loving father, son and brother. He leaves behind his beloved children Faith and Christian, parents Joseph and Marina, siblings Steven, Shane, Nicole, Darryl, Bernadette, Matthew, Grant, Melanie and Sara. Mourned also by countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Reuniting in heaven with Nanny and Poppy Tapper, Nanny Walsh, brothers Chris and Chad, cousin Blair and other close relatives.
Sam’s greatest joy in life came from being a loving father to Faith and Christian. Always humble and forever gracious, he was willing to help anyone in need, from any walk of life. His compassion and kindness endeared him to many, and he will be sorely missed.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.
Our family would like to thank the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their kindness and compassion shown towards Sam during his stay and in his final days.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay, on Thursday, August 11 and Friday August 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church in Torbay with cremation to follow.
