Hartley: James Sandford “Sam”
Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday July 6 2022 at the age of 80. Much loved husband of Marianne Hammond. Loving father of Rick (Janice), Brad (Shelley), Hope Zamida (Robert) and Mike (Candy). Predeceased by 1 daughter Theresa Hansen. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Diane Cunningham (Kip), Richard (Bonnie) and Murray (Kathleen). Brother in law of Dennis, Sue, Andy, Charlene, Mark and Rhonda Hammond and families. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Saturday July 9 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
