Sally Patten Wednesday December 28th 2022

Sally Marilyn Patten (nee Thomas) passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Campbell House on Wednesday December 28, 2022. She is deeply loved by her husband Lynn of 53 years and their children Carol (Tony) Maas and Greg (Michelle). Her grandchildren Layla, Kemper, Brook, and Esi will cherish their memory of her as their kind and loving Gigi.
Born in Collingwood to parents Franklin and Mildred Thomas, Sally is survived by her brothers Denny and Rod (Brenda) and sisters Millie (late Al) Patterson and Sylvia (Walt) Henson; predeceased by brothers Don, Gord and Fred. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews as an aunt who was always there to lend a hand in times of need.
Sally contributed many years to serving others at Home Care, through the Lioness Club of Collingwood and Big Sisters. Family and friends mattered most to her, hosting many gatherings at several different homes she and Lynn built together. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, sense of humour, and for always putting others before herself. A service of remembrance will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday January 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sally’s memory to First Presbyterian Church or Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House.
