Obituary of Ruth Cordick
Ruth passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 31, 2022. Born on March 30, 1928 in Owen Sound, Ontario, Ruth Marie Cordick (née Watson) of Owen Sound, was in her 94th year.
Dearly loved wife of the late William Cordick (1998). Loving mother of Pat Budvet, John Cordick (Cheryl), Penny Croft (Terry), Anthony Cordick and mother-in-law of Bev Cordick. Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. Ruth will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Edith Watson and her son, Terry Cordick.
As per Ruth’s wishes, there will not be any service at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519) 376-7492.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
