In loving memory of Rose Paquette “BEBE” (nee Frappier) who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 15, 2022, at the age of 81 after a long battle with Diabetes.
Beloved wife of 55 years to Michel “Mike” Paquette. Loving and devoted mother to Lise, Suzanne, Raymond, and Guy (Karen) all of Sudbury. Cherished Memere to Ryan, Tiana (Colin) Kaylee (Jackson) also step memere to Kim, Jennifer (Jason) and Beau and great memere to Cameron, Liam, Emma, Justin, Eve and Bryanna. Son in laws Les Wither and Kevin Leclair.
Predeceased by her parents Oscar Frappier and Marie Frappier (late Moise Nault). Sister to the late Joanne Gibeault (late Terry Short). Brother-in-law Mike Gibeault (Monique). Stepbrother Late Leo Nault and stepsister Marie Arbour (late Lionel). Her in laws late Roger (Réjeanne), late Fernand (Liliane) late Mariette Rainville (late Raymond), late Joycelyne Lefebvre (Donald), Olivette Poitras-Giroux (late Aurel and late Roméo), Ghislaine Beaudry, Carmen Pellerin (Joseph), Solange Ward (Louis), Louisette Lalonde (Lionel), Normand (Denise) and Betty Chalcraft (Dave). Rose will be sadly missed by her goddaughter Tina Gibeault (Rob) and nephew Dereck Gibeault (Tina) and by many nieces and nephews and cousins, friends and all that knew her.
Rose was a proud and vibrant person she loved to laugh and spend time with everyone she met. She was a full-time mother and full-time sitter for many family members and friends. She was always there to lend a hand and never said no to helping someone who needed it. She was well known for her famous baked beans, pies, and huge family dinners. She loved to play BINGO and blueberry picking in her younger days. She made a huge impact on all who knew her, she had a heart of gold.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff, nurses, doctors and PSW’s for their excellent care and compassion at Health Sciences North Dialysis department on the 9th floor and especially her husband for taking good care of her until her final days. A special thank you to Angele Brabant one of her favorite PSW who became very special to Rose and her family with her compassionate care.
At Rose’s request there will be no visitation direct cremation. The family will receive friends for a funeral mass to be celebrated at St Jean de Brébeuf Church on August 29, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of life. Burial at the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery at 2:30pm. Donations to the Diabetes Canada or the Sudbury Food Bank or charity of choice.
