Obituary of Ronald Milton Cleary
CLEARY, Ronald Milton – With his family by his side, Ronald Cleary at Bluewater Health on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Linda for 28 years. Loving father of Kim Callan (late Tom), Gord Neely Jr. (Tara), Greg Neely, Terri Neely, Jodi Toogood (Joe) and Jason Cleary. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca (Drake), Madeline (Ryan), Janaiya, Cassidy, Brycen, Duston, Ava, Layton and Danika. Proud great-grandfather of Rhett and Owen. Dear brother of Donald Cleary (Marsha), Dale Cleary (Ruth) and Karen Zegers. Predeceased by his parents Raymond & Marie Cleary.
Ronald was a conductor with CSX Railroad for 42 years, retiring in 2018. Ronald always loved trains and his career at the railroad showed that. Ronald was a cherished father, grandfather and great grandfather. We all enjoyed the side road trips we would take because he just loved to drive. He always had a story to tell, as long as you had the day to listen, it seemed like he never got to the point of the story but started a new one. He was always smiling when you would show up to the house, always with a dog by his side. His patient and kind loving soul will be dearly missed by everyone.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (519-344-3131) As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmout St., Sarnia, N7T 7W8 or www.sarniahumanesociety.com.
