Obituary of Ronald Joseph Noel Millette
MILLETTE, Ronald (Ron) Joseph Noel – Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Rolande “Rolie” Lajoie (deceased 2020). Loving father of Yves Millette (Dianne), Vernon, BC, Danielle Germain (Darryl), Mooretown, ON and, Jo-Ann Lee Franchetto (Steve), Hamilton, ON. Cherished grandfather of Caroline Millette (Chad Hayden), Sam Millette (Haley Allen), Brodie (Vanessa) Germain, Chantalle Germain, Hunter Lee and Jayden Lee. Great-grandfather of Marlowe, Wilder and Radley Hayden. Survived by his brother Marcel Millette, and sister Yolande Mullin. Ron was predeceased by his parents Edmond & Noella Millette and brother Raymond.
Ron was a long-time employee of CIL/ICI retiring in 1993. He lived life with vigour and will be remembered for the ever-present twinkle in his eye and smile on his face. Ronald loved golf, gardening, bright colours, sweets and most of all his family.
Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Friday June 30, 2022 (time to be announced). Interment at Resurrection Mausoleum. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia 519-344-3131.
