Ronald Roy Sloat Nov. 26. 1942 – Mar. 31, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Roy Sloat, beloved husband of Anne (nee Lortie) and father of Steven (Kathy) and Jennifer (Dan). Ron was a proud Grandpa to Karli (Bobby), Haley (Tanner), and Ryon, and Great Grandpa to Ashlynn and Evelynn. Ron was born to Roy and Evelyn (both predeceased) and is survived by six siblings: Bonnie (Aime predeceased), Joan, Ann (Michael predeceased), Richard (Joyce), Juel, and Sam (Lidia). May Ron forever be remembered walking hand in hand with his best friend, Anne, and silhouetted against the French River sunset, silently paddling his canoe. Honouring Ron’s wishes, there will be no visitation, services, or funeral. Ron’s ashes will reside in Park Lawn Cemetery in Sudbury and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
