Allen, Ronald Kenneth “Ron”
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Hospice Simcoe in his 73th year. Beloved husband of Heather Marie (née Evison) for over 52 years. Loving father of Ron Allen and Jamie (Sue – Anne Tripp) Allen. Cherished grandfather of Chris and Corey Allen. Caring brother of Bill, Gerry, Evelyn and Diane. Ron is predeceased by his parents Ellwood and Mary Allen, his siblings Ruth, Melvil, Victor, Ellwood, Iris and Johnny. Ron will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. Barrie, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 for a visitation from 2pm – 4pm and again from 6pm – 8pm. A funeral service will be held the next day in our chapel at 1 o’clock. Everyone is invited to continue sharing stories and memories at the reception in the lower level of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Simcoe or the R.V.H -Cancer Center would be gratefully appreciated by Ron’s family.
