Roméo J. LeBlanc, 78, of Shediac, passed away
surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. George-L. Dumont UHC on
Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022. Born in Moncton, he
was the son of the late William and Hélène
(Savoie) LeBlanc.
Before his retirement, he was a truck driver for Boucher
Paving.
He is survived by his spouse of 45 years, Laura; his four
children: Vicky Goguen (Marcel) of Shediac, Monique Léger
(Louis) of Cap-Pelé, Marc (Danielle Gallant) of Scoudouc,
and Wayne (Charline Clement) of Scoudouc; 10 brothers: Gaily
(Hélène), Aurelle (Florence), Elsee (Germaine),
Jean-Paul (Jeannine), Ronald (Violet), Raymond (late Alice),
Rhéal (Heather), Paul-Émile (Georgette), Claude
(Jackie), and Normand; four sisters: Louisa, Marie-Lucie (Greg),
Marguerite, and Cathy (André); seven grandchildren:
Jonathan, Stephan, Gabriel, and Robby, Joshua, Nicholas, Ashley; two
great grandchildren: Jamy and Skylar, many aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Noëlla and a
brother, Roger.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Tuesday, August
30th from 1 pm till time of departure at 2:45
pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph R. C. Church, 415 Main
Street, Shediac, on Tuesday at 3 pm.
In memory of Roméo, a contribution to the Canadian
Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would
be appreciated.
