On November 30, 2022, Mr. Roland Jackson of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his loving partner, Debbie Wilk; 3 sons, Albert, Ryan & Dallas (Janey); adopted daughter, Whitney Scannie; 8 grandchildren; mother of his children, Tina Lachance; adopted parents, John & Audrey Sydora; brother, Leonard (Elizabeth); 2 sisters, Muriel Beaudry & Colleen Jackson; 2 step-brothers, Daniel Cardinal & Dennis “Baby Joe” Cardinal; 4 step-sisters, Esther, Nora, Gloria (Bob) Ward & Delores Saskatchewan; special friend, Darryl Cholak; numerous nieces & nephews. Roland was predeceased by his parents, Albert Makokis & Emily Jackson; maternal grandparents, Louis & Dora Cardinal; paternal grandparents, Harry & Mary Makokis; step-parent, Stanley Cardinal; siblings, Kenneth, Anthony, Kevin, Bluebird, Sheldon & Brenda. A Wake will be held on Sunday, December 11 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
