1947-2022
ALDOUANE, NB – Roger Maillet 75, of Aldouane passed
away at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste. Anne de Kent on Friday,
October 28, 2022. Born in Richibucto, he was the son of the
late Hector Maillet and late Marguerite (Guimond) Maillet.
Roger was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners
of America. He was employed as a carpenter at Kent Homes in
Bouctouche until his retirement.
Roger will be sadly missed by his common law wife, Aline
Despres of Aldouane; two sons, Roger Jr. Maillet and Mark Maillet both
of Ontario and many grandchildren.
He is also survived by four sisters, Zelima Maillet of
Moncton, Ramona Maillet Vautour (late Luc) of Cap-St-Louis, Diana
Babineau (Pierre) of ON, Anne Maillet of Richibucto; one brother,
Everard Maillet of Richibucto and many nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am until departure for
the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday,
November 2, 2022 at 11:00 am, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic
Church in Richibucto.
