Obituary of Robert Sheldrake
In the home he loved, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Bob Sheldrake of Smithville passed away at the age of 84. Predeceased by his wife Rose Sheldrake (1997). Bob is survived by his special friend Barb. Loving father of Brenda (Joe) and Lisa (Steven). Cherished grandfather of Nikita (Ben) and Stephanie (Patrick). Bob was a great grandfather to Alexandrea. He will be missed by many other extended family and friends. The family expresses their gratitude to Dr. Matthew Noble Wohlgemut, all the staff of Smithville Medical Family Health Team and the home care providers for their support in making dad’s wishes possible. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 11 a.m. Smithville United Church, 116 West Street, Smithville.
