Bob retired from Canada Post
after 28 years which led him across the province from Chatham to Port
Elgin to Grand Falls before settling in Riverview in
1980.
Bob was introduced to Rotary
International while living in Port Elgin and continued his membership
with the Moncton West & Riverview Rotary Club until his

Bob was also an auxiliary RCMP
constable serving in Cap-Pelé, Grand Falls and Riverview, a
position he enjoyed for 17 years.
Although Bob enjoyed his
retirement from Canada Post, he could not sit still and decided to
join the Walmart team where he worked for 17 years before retirement
attempt number two.
Coming out of retirement once
again, Bob became a Commissionaire working in the Moncton area until
December 2021.
During his spare time, and
between retirements, Bob volunteered at multiple events including
Memorial Cup, FIFA- track and field where he enjoyed meeting people
from other countries.
In Bob’s words, he
had a full, enjoyable and rewarding life. Bob will be
missed.
Thank you to the doctors and
