Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, June 9, 2022 Robert G. Batten at the age of 90 in the presence of his devoted nephew Eddie Batten.
Predeceased by his loving wife Clara, his parents Allan & Florence Batten, his siblings, Doug, Fred, Bud, Wesley, Betty, Gwen, Joan and Sandra.
As well as by his brothers-in-law Scotty, Roy, James,
Edward and Frank and sister-in-law Dolly
Leaving to mourn his sisters Madge McDonald and Marg Brocklehurst. Many nieces, nephews and their families.
As well as numerous friends and neighbors, especially the members of The Paradise Seniors Club which he enjoyed immensely.

A very special acknowledgement to Bob’s nephew Eddie Batten (Sheila) who was not only his nephew but his friend. He and his family have been by Bob’s side for many years.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from Caul’s Chapel with inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
