He will also be greatly missed by his camping family and his best friend Greg.
Bobby came to NS at the young age of 23 years old to work on the trawlers in Petit De Grat, where he met his wife and created his life. He was a great caregiver to many people during his life. He was very close to his wife, they enjoyed their times travelling, camping and playing bingo together. He enjoyed spending time with his son hunting, fishing and playing cards. His daily calls from his daughter whom he liked to tease and call Deanna. He adored his grandchildren, Dalton and Blake who is liked to joke with, and of course his “little girl” Jessica.
Dion and Deanne would like to thank everyone who helped in taking care of our Dad over the last few years, so many kind souls who picked up groceries, took care of our Dad so our Mom could attend appointments, or to give her a short break, our aunts and friend who came to play cards at our parent’s house so our Mom could participate in some activities when she couldn’t get out. A huge thank you to our selfless Mother who took such amazing care of our Dad each and every day with love and compassion until his last breath. We are blessed.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in St. Joseph’s Church in Petit de Grat on August 17th at 11am with Rev. John DeCoste officiating. Burial to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat. Memorial donations can be made to the Isle Madame Small Options Residents Activity Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd. in Arichat.
Your Wings Were Ready, But Our Hearts Were not.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert Bobby
