Rita Upfold (Gravelle)
At 12:16 a.m., January 12, 2022, with the love of her life and hubby of 61 years by her side, the beautiful soul of Rita Marie (Gravelle) Upfold was lovingly guided to the other side on this day, her 77th birthday. Most amazing Mom of Wendy Upfold Beauregard and Gary Upfold, best ever Mother-in-Law to Craig Beauregard Sr (predeceased) and Gina Upfold. Her grandchildren Ryan Scott, his wife Chrissy and their children Kayla and Carson. Also Tyler and Trevor Upfold, and Tahlia Wolfe are the sunshine of her life. They carry forward her legacy of unconditional love.
Beloved sister of her eleven siblings and sister-in-law of four, along with their spouses. Aunty Rita is the treasured Aunty of her many nieces and nephews. She dedicated her heart, home, and life to caring for children, an example of love and goodness to over one hundred foster babies and continues her special bond with her beloved Joanne Robinson and her children. A fierce Mama Bear with a rare combination of humility and nurturing. She braved a lifetime of serious health issues with grace and dignity. She shared her time where it mattered most and made a difference in this world. The family look forward to celebrating this very special soul in the spring, where we can gather outdoors at Craig and Wendy’s home at Geneva Lake, Ontario.
