Rita’s Obituary
Passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the Lakeside Home, Gander, Mrs. Rita Lillian Perry, age 96 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent; parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Bowering; siblings, Stephen (Sophie) Bowering, Hope (Lester Mercer), Lewis (Pearl) Bowering, Allen (Rachael) Bowering, Dianna (James Parsons), Don Bowering and Jessie (Whitmore Mercer). Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are Lois (Mike Sceviour), Ira Bowering (Faye), Olive (Jim Weller) and a wide circle of in-laws, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 18th from 2-5 PM following COVID government regulations. The Funeral Service will take place from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Little Burnt Bay on Wednesday, January 19th at 1 PM. Interment will follow from the Pentecostal Cemetery, Little Burnt Bay.
In keeping with Covid-19 Government Regulations those attending the church for the funeral service are to present your NLVaxPass ID along with a photo ID.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Bethel Pentecostal Church, Little Burnt Bay would be gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte.
