Passed away peacefully at the St. Jacques Nursing Home in Embrun on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, Rietta Hillis (nee Steven) of Morewood, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Ken Hillis for 68 years. Loving mother of Greg Hillis of Morewood, Blair Hillis (Kathy) of Morewood and Shari Haas (Rick) of Orleans. Dear sister of Lloyd Steven (Doris) of Cannamore and Ken Steven of Grandview, Manitoba. Rietta will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Joey, Kristine, Bryan (Megan), Stephanie, Kimberly (Jody), Grant (Danielle), Julia (David), David (Stephanie) and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Viola Steven and her brother Allan Steven. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A Memorial Service will be held at the Winchester United Church on Wednesday, June 8th at 1 p.m. followed by a luncheon at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville. In lieu of flowers donations to Winchester United Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
