Rickey J. Roy of Moncton passed away on Wednesday,
May 18, 2022 at the age of 62.
Born in Tracadie, NB he was a son of Marie Roy (Benoit) and
the late Earl Roy.
It’s with deepest regret that we say a final goodbye to
Rickey J Roy a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Rickey was a
kind, generous, soft hearted soul who even started a fund raising
event for children with disabilities in his younger years. He loved
life and lived it on his own terms.
Survived by his mother, Maria Roy (Benoit) of Moncton;
sisters,Teresa Landry of Moncton and Patricia Roy (Pat Duggan) of
Thunder Bay, ON; brothers, Robert (Brenda) of Cocagne and Michael
(Joanne) of Cambridge, ON; also survived by nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his father, Earl Roy in 2006 he was
predeceased by a sister, Brenda Roy in 2004.
In honor of Rickey there will not be any funeral services
held.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery at a later
date.
Donations in Rickey’s memory made to Crossroads for Women would be
appreciated by the family.
