Richard

It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle Richard at the young age of 65 years at the St. Boniface Hospital.
He will be lovingly remembered and forever, missed by his loving wife, Darlene of 20 years (eight of which they were married) his mother Barbara; brother Robert (Lynn); sister Sundae (Terry); niece, Tiara, mother-in-law Hertzel; father-in-law Bill; brother-in-law Peter (Maria); sister-in-law Tara (George); and nephews Mark, Braxton, Nicholas, and Andrew.
He was predeceased by his father, Allan Domenco.
Richard was born in Winnipeg Manitoba to Barbara (nee Fraser) and Allan Domenco on June 8, 1957. Richard was raised in Marquette Manitoba and went to school in woodlands Manitoba. He moved to Winnipeg to work and found employment working for Canada Packers Ancast Foundries, Co-op, Implements and finally as a truck, driver for Mapleleaf construction; A job, he truly loved. He was known to his fellow workers as “The Bud”.
Richard enjoyed fishing and gatherings with family and friends. Richard also loved riding his Harley with his wife Darlene behind him, cruising the city and Sunday cruises with his Nova. He loved collecting cars and was a fanatic sports watcher. Richard had two girls in his life. His first was his wife, Darlene, and second girl was his fur baby Lexi, the Pomapoo (or our “nurse” as he would say). They were inseparable… He loved animals.
Always the life of the party he loved music and on occasion would drive us crazy, saying “Para pa pom pom” at Christmas time. He had a big heart and was always there for those in need especially was there to guide his nephews and had been a big influence in their lives.
The pain of losing you is immeasurable, and it breaks our heart that you were taken unexpectedly. It is comforting to believe that Richard has gone to a better place free of pain and suffering. Your memory will never leave us and may you live long in our hearts.
A big thank you to Auntie Nina, Uncle Dave, Peter and Maria for helping me at this difficult time. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the medical and nursing staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care provided to him during his stay.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Richard‘s name to a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life for Richard will take place at a later date.
Rest in peace, my beloved husband until we meet again
