Obituary
Rick was born to Dietrich and Lilian Funk on March 16th, 1950, in Calgary, Alberta.
He passed away on June 11th, 2022, in Red Deer, Alberta, leaving a legacy of memories for his family.
Left to mourn is his wife, Penny, sons; Shaun, Michael (Stephanie), Stepdaughter, Shannon (Kevin), Stepson, Travis (Missy), grandchildren; Alex, Ire, Ella, Nixon, Kinsley, also his sisters; Ginny, Kathy, Donna (Brian), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rick was predeceased by his parents Dick and Lilian, and a brother-in-law, John Elias.
Rick had many accomplishments in his life. He was an expert window and door installer, carpenter, and Jack-of-all-trades. He was also an excellent cook and most of all a wonderful husband, father, brother, and Papa. He was also a true cowboy. He loved team penning, football, and life!
