KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB – Richard Hall, 90, of
Kouchibouguac passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Hospital on
Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Born in Grand Cascapedia, Quebec, he was
the son of the late Vincent and Nina (Willett) Hall. Before retiring,
Richard was a laborer for the Labourers’ International Union
of North America (LiUNA) Local 183.
In his spare time, Richard enjoyed playing cards and was
known as the King of Cheating. He also liked woodworking and loved
spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed having a
toddy on the weekends.
Richard leaves to mourn his loving wife, Dorothy (Fallow)
Hall; his two daughters, Jane Cormier (Normand) of Kouchibouguac and
Janet Sypher (Johnny) of Port-Hope, ON; his son, Ellis “Al”
Hall of Cascapedia-Saint-Jules; as well as his four grandchildren,
Eric, Jeff, Jamie and Rebecca and his three great-grandchildren,
Logan, Ben and Noah.
Richard will also be sadly missed by his three brothers,
Arville (Opal) of Scarborough, ON, twin brother, Raynald (late Eileen)
of New Carlisle, QC and Irby (Gayle) of Ontario; as well as by his
many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his son,
Anthony “Tony” Hall; his four sisters, Lillian, Alice, Marie
and Lorraine; as well as by his two brothers, Billy and
Vincent.
Following Richard’s wishes, there will be no
visitation of funeral service.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Thompson Funeral
