Richard’s Obituary
THIBEAU, Richard Arnold – 74, Yarmouth, formerly of North Range, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born March 1, 1948 in North Range, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Muise) Thibeau. Richard was a fisherman for his entire working life, he enjoyed taking drives with his grandchildren and driving around with his best friend Gary Morton looking for deer. He also enjoyed spending time with his friend Gary Frost. He always enjoyed wood working, going on Facebook with Willard Ogden to “stir the pot”. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jean (Nickerson) Thibeau and their children, Mark (Nicole) Thibeau, Shelley (Roger) McCormick, Kelly (Joe) Deviller, Tracy Thibeau, Michael Pyne and Kim (Ed) Deviller, along with siblings, Wilfred Thibeau, Joey (Audrey) Thibeau, John (Marge) Thibeau, Roger Thibeau, Connie (Dave) Curry, Evelyn Gannon, Joan (Les) Rogerson and Carl (Krista) Thibault. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Chaley Thibeau, Amy McCormick, Sarah McCormick, Kathlyn DeViller, Janaya Deviller, Shelby DeViller, Emily Williams, Hannah Williams and Broke LeBlanc; grandsons, Chad Thibeau, Nolan Thibeau, Luke Thibeau, Khol McComick, Johnathan Thibeau, Robbie Thibeau and Mason Williams; great grandchildren Arianna, Tyson, Brock, Bently, Dakota, Piper, Kinsey and Hayden. Aside from his parents, Richard is predeceased by son, Chad Thibeau; sisters, Marguerite Anne Muise, Dianne Vicory and sister-in-law Hilda Doucet. A visitation will take place Friday, March 25 from 7 to 9 p.m., at Huskilsons Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Huskilsons Funeral Home, Yarmouth, Rev. A. D. “Bill” Newell officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the IWK or the HOPE Center. The family would like to thank Dr. Cain, his brother John Thibeau and his best friend since childhood, Loren Allen for helping care for Richard throughout his illness.
