Rev. Harry Vibe
July 26, 1929 – June 26, 2022
Harry Vibe died peacefully on June 26, 2022 in his 93rd year.
Harry served as a Lutheran Pastor in Selkirk, MB; Kitimat, BC; Watrous, SK; and Stewartville, MN, Calgary, AB and North Bay, ON. He also served as District Secretary of the Canadian Bible Society for Manitoba for seven years. Harry served 12 interims in the Ottawa Valley prior to his retirement in 2013. Harry is survived by his wife Inge (Rasmussen), his four children and their spouses, Kevin & Marilyn (Dittburner), Kristopher & Santhy (Kaiser), Kari & Grant (Laferriere), Kirsten & Ron (Laferriere), six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Harry is predeceased by his brothers John and Denis and sister Karen.
The memorial service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Renfrew, Ontario on Saturday, July 2, 2022.at 1 pm. Interment Rosebank Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lutheran World Relief and the World Mission Prayer League will be gratefully appreciated.
