It is with sadness we announce the passing of
Rennie Sherman Taylor, age 91, of
Collingwood Corner, NS. Rennie passed away on Wednesday, February
16th, 2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Amherst,
NS.
Born in Collingwood, he was a son of the late Leon and Mysie
(Sherman) Taylor.
Rennie raised his family in Scarborough, Ontario, and after
his and Ethel’s retirement, moved to the Collingwood
area.
He will be missed by 5 sons, Danny of Cawston, BC, Leon of
Collingwood, NS, Bernard of Toronto, ON, Robert of Toronto, ON, and
Calvin of Amherst, NS; daughter, Nova of Pickering, ON;
several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Ethel;
daughter Cynthia; brother Auley; sisters Rossie, Euda and
Nina.
Arrangements have been entrusted to W. Allen
Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167).
A graveside service will take place in the fall.
