Rene Moss passed away peacefully on 25 October 2022, in Chesterville. He was reunited with his late wife Toni (Derks), his parents Victor & Rose (Gauthier) and his grandson Wesley. He will be missed by those he has left behind. Loving father to Leona Beaudette (Allan), Jim (Gita Gandi), and Bryan (Alison Wood). Grandpa to Leah (Jeremy), Katrina (Marek), Alexander, Yasmeena and Katie. Great Grandpa to Jasper, Pippa and Willa. Big brother to Alice (Robert Laushway), Roger (Sharon Pemberton), Pauline (late Frank Scheepers), Lorraine (Stephen Wiles & late Ron Bell) and Helen (Grant Yoxon). He will be deeply missed by his wife Phyllis (Hawkins), his extended family, his coffee club buddies and his many friends. He was admired, respected and loved by many.
Funeral Arrangements
A Memorial service will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Presentation Roman Catholic Church, Chesterville, on Monday, October 31st at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville. Interment of cremated remains will be at St. Mary’s cemetery in Chesterville. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa or the Heart Institute of Ottawa. The family wishes to thank Dr. Archibald, the nurses and staff at the Garden Villa and the Palliative Care Team for their excellent and compassionate care.
