Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Bluewater Health, Rena Gabrielle Elek passed away at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Andrew. Loving mother of Patrick (Christine) and Daniel (Patricia). Cherished grandmother of Marcus and Thomas. Dear sister of Jean Marc Bégin, Benoit Bégin and Claude Bégin. Predeceased by her parents, Nazaire and Germaine Bégin, and by her sisters Madeleine Bégin and Marie Drumond (nee Bégin). In keeping with Rena’s wishes, a private family visitation and service will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
