Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Réjeanne Angélina (LeBlanc) Doiron on November 1, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rogersville, NB, February 12, 1951, to the late André and Eva LeBlanc, and was a loving wife to her husband, Ralph Doiron for 52 years.
Réjeanne was a very caring daughter, wife, mother, sister, grand maman, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She also left a lasting impression on many students during her years working as a substitute French teacher, as well as her colleagues at IBM. She treated everyone with the same level of respect, regardless of who they were, and there was never a doubt where you stood with mom. She was a character – small in stature but fiery in spirit. Family was everything to her. Réjeanne always put family first.
In addition to her husband, Ralph, she is survived by her son, Andy; daughters, Sheryl (Jeff) Gordon, Monique (Shawn) Mader and Angélina (Tony) Evans; 9 grandchildren, Noah, Sarah, Jack, Sophie, Laura, Alec, Anna, Mylo and Jacob; brothers, Francis (Rachel), Jean (Ginette), Gilles (Mariette), Daniel (Raymonde) and Michel (Noella); sisters, Murielle, Andrea (Grayling); brother-in-law, Vince; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Corinne Pineau and her nephew André Pineau.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (74 Almon Lane, Rothesay) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10am. Memorial donations in Réjeanne’s memory made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rejeanne Angelina LeBlanc Doiron February 12 1951 November 1 2022 (age 71)..
