Redhorn Green
1933-2022
After a lengthy illness, Redorn Green passed away on October
11, 2022 while in Palliative Care at the age of 89 at the Upper River
Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born at Bon Accord, NB in 1933, he was a
son of the late Ralph and Aleene (White) Green.
He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Darlene
(Christophersen) Green; his daughter, Cynthia (Green) Pettis and
(Curdell), Virginia Beach, VA; his sons: Calvin (Susan)
Green, Mission, BC; Rodney (Marilyn) Green, Fort St. John,
BC; Dwight (Donna) Green, New Denmark, NB; grandsons: Lindon
(Coreen) Green, Clyde River, Nunavut; Matthew Green, New Denmark, NB,
great-grandchildren, Callina and Brayden Green, Clyde River,
Nunavut.
Predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Green, Grande Prairie, BC and
his grandson, Jamie Green, Moncton, NB.
Redorn grew up in a large, loving family as one of 18
children in Plaster Rock, NB. He is survived by his sisters:
Glenna Andersen, Sharon Price, Donna Virtanen, Brenda Simpson, Ruby
Robertson, Sheila Linton and one brother: Fred Green.
Predeceased by brothers: Charles, Fredrick, Carroll, and
Ralph and sisters: Agnes, Bertha, Sybil, Doris, Uldene and
Kathleen.
Redorn loved his family with all his heart. He
loved the outdoors and working on cars. He is going to be
greatly missed by his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 14th at 2
p.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark with Rev. David Ferrell
officiating.
For those who wish, donations to the S.P.C.A. would be
appreciated by the family.
