With heavy hearts, the family announces that Rebecca passed away at home on Sunday May 15th, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer, in her 50th year.
She will be forever loved by her husband Dean and children Nathan and Logan. Precious daughter of Michael & Angela Stewart and much loved sister of Ryan (Nicole) Stewart. Dear daughter in law of Merilea Baumhauer and sister in law to Shawn Baumhauer and Chris (Nick) Baumhauer. Loving aunt to Ava, Claire, Cameron & Luke and Grace and Sienna.
Rebecca was a dental hygienist at Liberty Dental in Bowmanville for many years. She was a loyal friend to countless, but was happiest when she was cheering her kids and nieces & nephews on during their many, many sporting activities.
Many thanks to the ‘village’ that have helped during her illness, your care, concern and acts of kindness did not go unnoticed and were truly appreciated.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville on Thursday May 19th from 5 – 8 pm. A Memorial Service for Rebecca will be held at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 116 Church Street Bowmanville on Friday May 20th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
