Obituary of Raymond Earl Attig
Born July 14th, 1964 – Nanaimo British Columbia –
Died November 15th, 2022 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan –
Age 58 Years Old
Raymond is survived by his children: Maggin Attig and Raymond David Attig, his grandkids: Aasen Attig, Alexa Attig, Aymerie, Anthony Attig, Alijah Attig, and his siblings: Veronica (Ronnie) Cameron, Lloyd James Attig, Brian Glen Attig (Feather Howse), Todd Henry Attig. He is also survived by his special nieces and nephews: Nikki, Cheryl, Jaime, Desmond, Walker, Charity, Mason, Bryce, Jessica, Jack, Cree, Kelsey, Eagle, Raven, Swan, Soara, and Talon, Jayden, Myhah and Kenna, along with his other grandchildren: Athena, Jennifer, Donate, Maddison, Isabella (the Queen), Savannah and the children of Nikki and Cheryl and Walker. Predeceased by Grandparents: James Dreaver and Mina Dreaver; Harry Attig and Katherine Attig; Also predeceased by Parents: Henry Lloyd Graham Attig and Hazel Attig nee Dreaver.
Raymond was born in Nanaimo BC and lived most of his life in and around Prince Albert SK. He was a construction labourer in his early years, and then later moved on to driving truck and heavy equipment operator. He worked for various farms, logging companies, trucking companies and various mines, and drove throughout Eastern and Western Canada. His last job was hauling windmill parts to build windmills in southern Saskatchewan.
Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing and would go with his cousins and friends on both ventures. He also was a professional bingo player and enjoyed this with his favorite cousin.
